Return / Exchange policy
Return / Exchange Policy
We are unable to accept returns or exchanges on items that have been worn, washed or tags removed.
Items purchased as SALE ITEMS, BLACK FRIDAY, COUPON CODES and items purchased in HOLIDAY WEAR categories are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
You may contact us up to 7 days after delivery confirmation if you need to return a regular wear item. Please contact us to receive a return label. Item being returned must include customer name, email and / or order number. Item must be in unused condition and in original packaging. Once it is returned to our facility and found to be in new and unworn condition, we will then issue the refund.
Customers are responsible for all return costs associated with shipping fees. Rome + Ruby is not responsible for lost or mis-directed return packages. We suggest adding tracking to your return, to ensure your item is received.
If you wish to exchange item, customers must follow the same process as noted for returns as above. We suggest returning first and then purchasing the correct item.
Rome + Ruby has the right to refuse return of any item having been worn/washed or other.
Returns over $200 will be subjected to a 20% restocking fee.
If an item is damaged upon delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
If an item is being returned that was given as a gift - we require an order number, customer name or email to verify original purchase. A store credit will be issued once the return is processed.
Proof of purchase is required for items to be eligible for return credit. Processing time of return refunds is 1-3 business days.
When will my item arrive?
Shipping Time
We ship USPS and UPS. Shipping time frame 3-10 business days after order prep and pack. We do not ship on holidays or weekends.
Shipping Policy
Once an item has been shipped and tracking information provided to the customer, Rome + Ruby is not responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen packages. If you would like to add insurance to an order, please notify us before completing an order. If there is an issue with shipping and the receipt of your package, please contact your local carrier to discuss.
Tracking
Tracking will be emailed if you have provided an email address at the time of check out. Please ensure you provide an accurate email address to receive notifications. Once an order is placed, if no email address is attached, we are unable to adjust an order to include an email address.
Shipping Adjustments
Please ensure that the shipping address is correct and the zip code is accurate before completing the transaction. If for some reasons, you find the shipping info you provided is not accurate, after order completion, please contact us at hello@romeandruby.com within 2 hours of the purchase with the subject (Shipping Adjustment Needed). Please include your order number with in the email, the correct address and zip code. Failure to do this with in the 2 hours window, will result in additional shipping charges.
International Shipping
We currently only ship with in the United States. Hang on! We are working on expanding our shipping to International and will update our website to include it once we are all set.
When can I use my discount code & can I modify my order?
Order Modification
Once an order is placed in our system, it can not be modified or canceled.If you wish to add items, a separate order must be made. We are unable to cancel orders once placed online.
Coupon Codes
Coupon codes must be entered at check out. We are unable to modify an order once it is placed to include a missed coupon code. Each coupon code can be used once per customer. Coupon codes are not eligible on past purchases.
How do I care for my item?
Item Care
Rome + Ruby recommends turning all apparel inside out prior to washing. Hand washing or washing on gentle cold cycle on cold. Lay flat to dry is best or on delicate.
Sizing Details
We strongly recommend that you use the size chart located on our website. If your little has a bit more love to them, we suggest going up a size to ensure proper fit and room to grow. For adult sizing, if you like a relaxed fit – size up one.
